Week 1: The Art of a Beautiful Game is a book written by Chris Ballard in 2009 written for Sports Illustrated. This week i read from page 1-78 in my Ibooks application. There virtues illustrates what makes basketball beautiful. The pages i read is the first chapterof this book and talks about "Kobe Bryant: Why Kobe wants to beat you at everything". The chapter tells us how Kobe since he was a little kid he hates loosing and if he does he challenges you until he cansay he beat you. Kobe bryant is a guy that will never let up for a second and will always play hard defense on you and will always punish you on offense. Then it tells us about his life and how he got in love with the game of basketball living with his dad in italy and watching the games at midnight and the transition he had from going to college to play profesional basketball with the Lakers. And it finally tells us how his quest to win a championship by himself made him work harder until he compleated it by beating the Orlando Magic in 5 games of the NBA finals in 2009.
